Spread betting

Spread betting is a category of spread betting that involves taking a bet on the price movement of currency pairs. A company offering currency spread betting usually quotes two prices, the bid and the ask price - this is called the spread. With Trade12 I have the lowest spread in maximum of the pairs. Due to this fact traders have ECN accounts with lowest commission.

The difference between the bid and ask price of a currency pair is known as spread. The lower the spread, the better it is. Spread betting is the bet from trader’s side on the price movement of a currency pair. Traders bet whether the price of a currency pair will be lower than bid price or higher than the ask price. The lower the spread, the better currency pair it is to trade. But I am working with a broker AAFX who gives me low and fixed 1 pip spread, so I don’t engage in such spread betting.
