Spread refers to commission. Three forms of commission are used by brokers in forex. In the case of a broker who offers a variable spread, you can expect a spread that will, at times, be as low as 1.5 pips or as high as five pips, depending on the currency pair being traded and the market volatility level. Trade12 charges a small amount of spread to their traders and due to this fact I can take a huge profit and that’s why spread is important to consider.

Re: How much important spread is?
Spread is a form of earning for your trading platform which signifies the difference in bids and asks price of a currency pair. With the help of spread, a broker charges one sort of commissions for providing its services. I am trading with AAFX, an Australian broker which is providing me lowest zero spread, 1:2000 good leverage, 35% welcoming bonus, comprehensive EA trading with more than 80+ tools and charges no hidden cost and commissions to keep my profit higher.
